You’re not going to become an expert on another culture by looking up a few articles on the internet. However, you can learn some valuable tips that can help you avoid embarrassing (and potentially costly) mistakes.

Taking a little time to learn about their cultures and taking cues from their behavior helps ensure that meetings and negotiations go smoothly. Above all, make sure you maintain an attitude of respect. Don’t assume that everyone shares your habits and ideas.
